Changing Your Lifestyle
Changing your lifestyle is a crucial part of developing and maturing into who God has purposed you to be. It’s not an overnight thing, so don’t give up before you start!. It takes a life time, day to day, to become who God wants you to be. But there’s good new…. You don’t have to do it alone!. God is such a good Father that He gave us a manual to guide us, and His very Holy Spirit to strengthen, teach, comfort, convict and walk with us. This Holy Spirit will be as powerful as you allow Him to be in your life. So let’s start….

Step 1 – Start The Race:
To become a child in God’s family and to be recognised as a child to the Father, you need to accept His Son, Jesus Christ, who the Father sent to die in your place. You see, you were born with sin already, no matter how good you think you are, it’s in your bloodline. It comes through the blood all the way from Adam & Eve. Sorry your just not good enough to get into Heaven, you need the perfect and pure blood of Jesus Christ to wash you clean. When you accept Him and His death and Resurrection, that was done to save you, then God looks through His purity at you and you become accepted and sealed by the Holy Spirit. You do this by faith. What is faith, believing in something that you cannot see or feel but understand and accept.

Step 3 – Go, … Belonging To The Kingdom
To stay strong and not give up you need a home. Once you give your life to Christ the devils going to try to win you back into the world. You need a spiritual family who can stand by you in tough times, you need teaching (food) to help you grow and become strong and you need a place where you can work on your purpose and gifts that God is going to give you. You see, lifestyle change! So you choose a church that loves you for who you are but also who loves you enough to teach you the truth and wants to see your destiny according to the Word of God, be fulfilled. Come and visit our church, get to know the people.

Step 4 – Get Some Power
Our main focus is to obey the Word of God to the best of our ability. No you’re not perfect yet, maybe you feel nothing has even changed. But obeying God changes things. You have obeyed God by accepting Jesus Christ as your Saviour, so without you feeling it your spirit has been re-born and filled with the Holy Spirit. The next step is you need to be Baptized in water. All over the Bible it joins the 2 steps of repenting and baptizing together. Jesus showed us in His Word how we need to be Baptized. So the first chance you get you ask, “when can I be Baptized”? We will arrange a date for the 2 hour seminar, explaining what Baptism is, then on the following Sunday we Baptize you. As simple as that.

Step 5 – Get Some Family
Know you need to grow. You need to become involved with children of God otherwise the devil will pull you back into the world. Make some friends that have a passion for God. Join some groups at the church, there are many varieties to choose from according to your passion and age. Make the effort and God will reward you.

Step 6 – Get Some Knowledge
Growing spiritually is very important. You need to be able to stand up for yourself in tough situations. Believe me the more knowledgeable you get with the Word of God, the more the devil is going to try and bring you down. You see, with knowledge from the Word and belief in your heart, you will be able to move mountains and satan becomes scared of you and what you will achieve for God on this earth. Join in when there are courses presented, don’t miss Sunday service, and read your Word and pray every day even when it gets tough. Ask lots of questions…. Learn!
Step 7 – Give Back (Sowing & Reaping)
The more we sow (plant, do), the more we reap. And God’s Word say’s we reap 10x, 30x, 100x what we sow! You can’t keep it all to yourself. God has called and saved you so that you will work in His Kingdom. He wants to use you, and believe me you will reap the benefits. So it’s not sit on my lazy boy because I’m going to Heaven, no, no, it’s get up, put on the full armor of God so that I can defeat the devil and build God’s Kingdom.
What a wonderful, fulfilling, rewarding purpose and mission to have.
